Student assistant

Job description

Functions of a student assistant: 1. to help a student or (and) a group of students perform activities related to self-service, self-management and nutrition; 2. help the student get involved in educational activities, participate in the educational process, prepare the necessary tools for the lesson, provide assistance during breaks between lessons, etc. t.; 3. if necessary, help use the technical support tools for education according to the instructions provided by the teacher or educational support specialist, help the teacher prepare them; 4. consult with the school's child welfare commission, teacher, educational support specialist regarding applicable actions that would help the student get involved in the educational process and participate in it; 5. to carry out the recommendations and instructions of educational support and other specialists, which are specified in the individual education plan; 6. help the student behave in a socially acceptable manner; 7. according to competence, participate in the implementation discussions of the individual education plan; 8. cooperate with teachers, other specialists providing educational support; 9. to help the teacher prepare and/or adapt the educational material necessary for the child (group of children); to help the teacher in common group activities.
