Pakruojis Regional Museum - budgetary cultural institution established2024of July4d. The main purpose of which is to protect, foster and actualize the historical and cultural heritage of Pakruojis region and to make it available to the public. The museum administers three important cultural heritage objects: the Synagogue of Pakruojis, the roof of Pakruojis Fire Company and Žeimelis Museum "Ziemgala."The museum's activities include the collection, accumulation, exploration, storage and exhibition of museum values, the preparation of regular and temporary exhibitions, the dissemination of the history and culture of the country.The museum organises educational programmes, excursions, cultural and memorial events, collaborates with educational institutions, local community and cultural partners.The Museum of Pakruojis Region seeks to be a living cultural space open to dialogue, creation and modern heritage presentation, strengthening local identity and promoting interest The history of the country and its cultural identity.
